Childhood Friends

A huge chunk of my teenage years was spent with my dear friends Shanna & Kara. I met them in seventh grade and we soon became attached at the hip. I love these girls! We shared tons of wonderful memories. Oh the laughter, fun, trouble, tears, boys, boys & more boys! These girls and their families are so special to me. Last weekend, Shanna had a party for her daughter here in town. Kara flew in, also. WOW... it had been well over 12 years since we last saw each other! Amazingly,it seemed just like yesterday! Elaina & Sarah, 2 other friends from Jr. High & High School, were there. Plus, all of Shanna's family! I got to meet husbands and kids. It was such a blast!!!!! Here are a few picture we took...I was having so much fun talking I didn't pull out the camera till the end!

Weekends are wonderful around here. The kids always like to help with meals. On Saturday and Sunday we try to make at least one meal with 1 or 2 of the kids. This day the boys were helping Dax make fruit and yogurt. Last weekend, Dax taught Jax how to make french toast. He even got to flip it :-) On Wednesday morning, Emma got up early to make eggs, spinach, ham and cheese for the boys and me! YUMMY! We are so blessed with our helpful kiddos!

Another wonderful weekend with Friends!

Ok... so I am a couple of weeks behind but my friend Sherry and her kids came to visit. We had such a nice relaxing time. Dax, Sherry and I stayed up late watching Casablanca. We went on walks and just goofed around!

Cool Dad & Boys 1st Soccer Game

Check out Dax ripsticking in his work clothes. This is how he went down the street to get the kids last night! He sure is a Cool Dad :-) Oh, the ripstick was Dax's valentines gift from me!!!

Last weekend, the boys both had their 1st soccer game. It was a little crazy because both games were at the same time. Dax & I played musical game watching.

Friends & Soccer!

Our friends the Leighs came to visit us this past weekend. They also have 4 kids so it was a full house ;-) Here are a few pictures from their visit! It was so much fun!

The boys are also starting soccer. They just got new ball and cleats! These pictures were taken before Ollie's 1st practice. He is so funny.... "I am gonna be a soccer star. I am so good at soccer. I just can't wait!"
